Reference Phono Stage

The Reference Phono stage uses the same circuitry and design as the Masterpiece Edition with a different level of signal components and power supply filtering.

Both Phono stages use the same simple signal path topology where every signal component is chosen for its absolute quality and construction.
Internal wiring uses the same ultra high purity silver wire as used in the Ref Interconnect cables.
Signal capacitors are chosen to enhance soundstage and other important qualities vinyl is so famous for.
Gold plated RCA connectors and silver power inlet socket are standard.
Power supply capacitors are specially selected for their low ESR and ultimate power supply delivery.
All PCB’s have micro vibration absorption and dissipation.

      Reference Phonostage features :

• Audio grade resistors in the critical signal path for low noise and a more natural sound.
• Mundorf silver/oil or equivalent signal path capacitors.
• Lundahl MC step up transformers (SUT) using amorphous cobalt core and dual coil structure with Cardas high purity wire.
• Silver internal wiring and gold plated RCA connectors
• Toroidal transformers with B+ regulators for low PSRR figures.
• High amplification, super accurate RIAA EQ , low output impedance and low distortion.

 
All aluminium case construction is made with additional damping.

Available with built in Lundahl amorphous core SUT’s for MC cartridges as standard
